BBC Gardenersโ World Magazine marks 10 Years of Garden of the Year

Voting is now open for a special 10th anniversary edition of the BBC Gardenersโ World Magazine Garden of the Year Awards, proudly partnered with Crocus, the UKโs most trusted online gardening retailer.
This yearโs competition has a unique twist: every contender is a previous finalist, giving readers the chance to revisit Britainโs most loved gardens and vote for their ultimate favourite. Over the past decade, the awards have highlighted everything from innovative small space solutions to ambitious wildlife havens, becoming a highlight of the UK gardening calendar.
Expert judges return for 2026, combining their expertise and influence within the industry to select this yearโs champion. The panel includes garden designer and BBC Gardenersโ World presenter,โฏArit Anderson; garden designer and author,โฏAnn-Marie Powell; BBC Gardenersโ World Magazine Content Director,โฏKevin Smith, and Head Gardener at Crocus, Ashley Edwards.

As part of the celebrations, everyone who votes will be entered into a prize draw to win a ยฃ100 Crocus voucher, perfect for refreshing their own plot. Voting is open from 27th February to midnight on 27th March. Readers can explore the shortlisted gardens and cast their votes here. The winner will be announced in Octoberโs edition of BBC Gardenerโs World Magazine.
